The Village Bank Chairman Kenneth C. Brennan has announced the appointment of James W. Duffy to the Board of Directors.
“We are excited to welcome Jim Duffy to the Board of Directors,” Brennan said. “He has a wealth of experience and knowledge, and we look forward to his contributions to the continued success of our organization.”
Duffy is the president and chief executive officer of Ravago Holdings America and Blue Tree Holdings, the market leader in polymer distribution, compounding, and resale, which also operates market-leading companies in specialty chemical distribution, building product distribution and manufacturing, and logistics. He was also the president, chief executive officer, and founder of North America Group LLC, a polymer distribution and compounding company sold to Ravago in 2006. A graduate of Villanova University, he is a member of the Ravago SA Board of Directors and sits on several company boards, such as United Solutions, Green Mattress Inc., HCI Energy, and Altera Energy. He is also a trustee of the Landmark School in Beverly, Massachusetts.
“It is an honor to welcome James Duffy to our extraordinary group of directors,” Village Bank president and CEO Joseph A. De Vito said. “His knowledge, experience, and expertise make him a perfect fit for the Bank and its mission.”
