Bank Hours:
All branches offer extended lobby hours, either on Thursday and Friday or on a modified schedule, such as the Waban branch, which offers extended hours on Monday evening. All full-service offices are open Saturdays from 9-12. A full list of branch locations and hours can be found here.
All offices have ATMs that provide 24-hour network access. The Bank is a member of the SUM, Mastercard, Cirrus, Plus, Visa, Presto and NYCE networks. The Presto and SUM networks allow the Bank’s customers surcharge-free use of ATMs operated by these networks.

Alternative Retail Banking Services:
All full-service offices offer the same banking services and products. Each branch office has staff who can take loan application for retail credit products offered by the Bank. Each office can arrange for a mortgage loan originator to meet with a customer at any branch office within a few hours of the request or branch staff can schedule an appointment with a member of the mortgage staff at a time and location convenient to the customer.
The Bank provides free telephone and online banking to all customers. The automated telephone system provides 24 hour, 7 days a week account information and access. With the proper electronic identification customers can check current balances and transaction information, transfer funds between accounts, and obtain information on interest rates and maturity dates on certificates of deposit. Village Online Banking provides 24 hour, 7 days a week account information like telephone banking and offers online bill paying services.
Additional Services:
Each branch is equipped with a night drop depository facility, except for the Waban Office. Auburndale, Newtonville, Waban, Nonantum, West Newton, and the Newton Centre branch locations are equipped with handicapped teller window service. All offices are equipped with handicapped ramps or street level entrances and exits. The Wayland Office also has a drive-up window.
The Village Bank has a Business call Program, an outreach program established at each branch location whereby branch managers, mortgage originators, commercial loan officers and business development personnel call on potential business and consumer customers.
The Bank also maintains contact with local affordable housing advocates, municipal housing departments and local real estate brokers.
The Bank is a participant in the State Treasurer’s “Basic Banking Program” that encourages individuals typically unable to afford the costs associated with checking and/or savings accounts to establish banking relationships through low-cost accounts.
The Village Bank offers a wide variety of deposit and lending products, including Free Checking, debit, and ATM cards, as well as consumer and mortgage products both conforming and non-conforming programs. The Bank offers a First Time Homebuyer program with reduced closing costs and rates as well as a Pre-Approval Program. Commercial Loans are also available and include SBA loan programs, commercial real estate loans, commercial lines of credit, and term loans.
The Village Bank has a Customer Care Center devoted to addressing the research needs of our customers and to provide online banking assistance, which operates at the Corporate Headquarters.
The Village Loan Center operates in the Corporate Headquarters at 320 Needham Street, Suite 200, Newton, MA 02464.
