Joseph De Vito, president and CEO of The Village Bank, has announced the hiring of Robert Dolan as assistant vice president/commercial loan officer.
Dolan has enjoyed a long and successful career in the financial services industry, including more than 20 years in commercial lending. Prior to joining The Village Bank, he served as vice president in commercial lending for Lowell Five. There, he was instrumental in helping deliver lending solutions and guidance to help a range of commercial businesses in construction, real estate, and other industries meet their annual growth goals.
Dolan holds a degree in finance from Merrimack College and has been actively involved in helping a number of local non-profit organizations carry out their missions. He currently serves on the board of directors and as treasurer of Lucy’s Love Bus and is a former board member of Girls, Inc., Dracut Charities, and Lowell Transitional Living Center. He also participates in the Pan Mass Challenge each year.
“We’re delighted to welcome Robert to our commercial lending team. His vast experience in commercial lending and his commitment to supporting the community aligns with our mission to help local people and businesses prosper,” said De Vito.
Dolan resides in Wellesley with his partner Patti, and is the father of two grown children, Kaylee and Patrick.
